Hows your wrapping coming along?!

Not sure if there is another thread like this.... but I am just wondering how all of your wrapping presents is coming along?

Is yours all done wrapped and sent off already, or are you a christmas even typa person? lol

I have done half of mine! My parents birthdays are both a week before christmas (my dads tomorrow! :|) so that kinda spurs me on when I start wrapping up their birthday presents lol.

I have wrapped my brothers (only 2 years old! :O :D) lol and still have all my girlfriends to wrap up!

hehe don't ask, l started well but what with covering absence at work and me ill with a little bug l'm now behind. I went in the loft today to sort some bits and found two bags of bargains for my little boys stocking l'd forgotten about - now l'm getting fed up at the thought of it all.

I started again tonight but thought l'd have 5 mins on here and saw your post :rotfl:

    Happy moneysaving all.

All the prezzies we have upto now have been wrapped and a large bulk of them were dished out last sat at family get together.

Got a big bag of things to take down my moms for my sister to collect for her little ones and then the rest of the stuff here is for kids and hubby.

I have my parents wedding anniversary two days after xmas day so got to buy for that and wrap it and 2009 draws to an end with everything done and dusted.

hahahah tut tut! :P I know I am glad I am not the only one who is finding bits and bobs I bought months ago all over the house! The whole getting organised and buying presents in advance thing doesn't seem to be going to succesfully... I seem to forget what I have bought so they end up getting more and more! haha :p

I quite enjoy wrapping up presents, once I have kids and have loads to do though it will no doubt be a different story! lol I am not the best at wrapping mind you, my gf is the type who make it all pretty with bows and ribbons where I am a kinda wrap it in a roll of sellotape guy xD - hey arent all men!? :P

and yes, I am that sad I have one as my avvy :rotfl:

all pressies bought (finished today!) - nothing wrapped except for best friend and her family - only done as member of her family who lives locally was visiting her at the start of the month and takes my presents. my cousin is visiting mum on sunday for pressie exchange so i will have to have hers and family will be done by then.. parents birthday pressents will need to to be ready for saturday and monday!! finish work on tuesday so my imediate family pressies will be wrapped in time for christmas once i have broken up! no doubt at the weekend my farther will land my mums birthday and christmas pressies on me to wrap as it is not a skill he has and the one year i was too ill to do it he sealed carrier bags for her with sellotape - althouth he did put them in bags from other shops (throw her off the sent) and stick gift tags to them!!

  • all wrapped as of two weeks ago apart from the hampers which I need to leave as last minute as possible. I've been far too organised this year.

I was really planning to have a night wrapping tonight. Got all the pressies and paper out and wrapped two when I stopped to make a cup of tea & empty the washing machine.

By the time I had got back in the living room the cats had managed to unwrap (shred) the two presents I had wrapped and also clawed their way through a whole roll of paper

    I gave up
