beware! to good to be true

i was contacted today by a company offering to help me reclaim my p.p.i.
they had a lot of my personal details that only the bank have i listerned to the patter and was taken in they said my account would be credited with £59.99 as a goodwill gesture so i said ok upon being transferd it turned into a debit of £59.99 to late i was told its non refundable.they also said they were O.F.T assured. so ive phoned the bonk not much help there stopped all my cards,also informed the O.F.T. who said we will look into it.
Also went on whos calling me and there are a lot of people who have been called. oh yes and the number to watch for is
01253 750929.

Thanks for this information. I think in a situation like this i would inform the police TBH. From what you say this is fraudulent or sounds like identity theft of some sort to know all personal bank details. I cannot believe that your bank were also of no help. Its disgusting how they can get away with this sort of stuff. Ring MOJ and also the OFT too.

i conntacted the trading stds and they "looking into it" after looking on tinternet quite a lot of people have been cold called by this company but they are still continue to call people and con them so here is the number to look out for

Hi, looks like a company who phoned me a couple of months ago called Banking Solutions. They did the same thing. Phone them back on the same no and ask to be put through to their legal department. Tell them that this payment was not authorised by you and that their sales people are lying and being misleading and they might argue but they will refund the payment. Takes a couple of weeks though. Also tell them that you have reported this unauthorised payment to your bank. If it is Banking Solutions they are not authorised by the Ministry of Justice and are currently being investigated and if you ask them for their registation no they will gime you a fake one. Phone the MOJ and they will take a statement from you to build up their case.
