Barclays Regular Saver Interest Rate

Dear MSE, Last December, there was an article on MSE.com about the Barclays regular saver account which I am certain included a quote from Barclays head of savings stating that if a regular saver account was opened by 31 December 2008,it would qualify for a rate of 7.75% even though the published rate at the time was 6% Do you still have this article/page in your archives?

I have a regular saver account which I opened before the end of December 2008 and is about to expire.
I though it would be on the 7.75% rate but it turns out it is on the 6% rate.
I could do with a copy of this article to show to Barclays to try to get the better rate.

Thanks
Rick
