Hi
I was using Internet Explorer on my desk top when i accidentally dropped something on my keyboard in the region of the Pause Scroll Lock keys. When I looked at my screen the toolbars at the top of IE had disapeared and the main window was larger. I soon discovered they were auto-hiding. It has returned to normal now - don't know how. As I had no idea that this could be done and it would be very handy if I could do it on my lap-top can anyone tell me how the Auto-hide for these tool bars is activated. I know how to auto hide my windows task bar at the bottom of the screen but tried everything I can think off at the top and looked at IE help but can't find it. Also tried dropping something on my keyboard again but no luck???

Sounds like you hit the F11 button (makes the web browser full screen).0

One possible option is the F11 key on laptops.
