Kitchen appliance insurance

Hi
We have just recently refurbished our kitchen and installed brand new appliances.
I am looking for appliance insurance for the following items: Fridge Freezer, Induction Hob, Oven, Combi-Microwave (Electrolux) Dishwasher (Rangemaster) and Extractor Hood (AEG).
When I called Electrolux to register their appliances, I was told about a ‘special offer’ if I took out Electrolux’s insurance. Being rather sceptical about this I said I would consider it and call back. The chap I spoke to insisted this was a one time offer and that if I took out the insurance at a later date it would cost more. So knowing that I had 28 days in which to cancel I took out the insurance with the intention of shopping around later to see if I could find anything better.
Of course it turned out that Electrolux’s insurance was in fact Domestic and General’s.
When I went on D&G’s site; I was surprised to find the prices quoted by them were in fact quite a bit higher than going via Electrolux.
So should I stick with insurance I have or are there competitive alternatives to Electrolux/D&G?
I have still to organise extended insurance for the Dishwasher and Extractor Hood. Should I sort out separate policies for these or could I save money by buying a group policy for all my appliances from someone – if there is such a thing?
Any advice gratefully received – thanks!
PS. I hope I’ve posted this in the right section; if not please move to the correct place.
