FTB Mortgage - Survey fee

Hi all

I have recently (08.06.06) applied for a Nationwide mortgage for a property I have got an accepted offer on. Mortgage Adviser told me that within the first two weeks if we dont hear anything from them it's good news ("no news is good news")

Today the valuation/Survey fee has been taken from my account by Nationwide - does this mean that the mortgage should be accepted now and all checks such as credit search have been done?

Thanks
