in Credit cards
Hi everyone,
Its a long story but
I had 2 contract with 3 for jan-dec (2006).i had a direct debit for my bills.
In dec i finished my contract but last week i received a letter from 3 that "you will have to pay £1000 outstanding amount".i contacted them so they told me that 'They were charging all my bills from somebody else's account for whole year so they refunded that money to him and wants to cover that money from me."*
Also my credit score was good in last december.it clearly stats that i have paid all my 3 bills.but now after this letter it affected my credit score and i cant do any mobile contract and other credit releted things.
* i have noticed that they've just charged bills for 1 contract but not for 2nd one.but its not my fault.wen started my contract i gave my bank details correctly.
Now, i know that bills are outstanding but im a poor student and cant pay that much of amount so could please advise me for this matter.can i go to trading standard or some where else?bcuz i tried to convence 3 but they are not listenig to me at all and i dont want to spoil my credit score.
im desparate for help.
Thanks in advance.

Did you not notice that they were not charging you for one contract?
and had undercharged you by £1000 for another?
If you are a poor student then you really should keep a closer watch on your finances.
I am afraid that you owe the money so you will need to pay it back.
It is unfortunate that you didn't get the right bills but also negligent on your part to let it go so far - after all it's not a small amount.
Could you borrow the money from family and then work evenings and weekends to pay the money back?
In future I would suggest checking your bills a bit more thoroughly so you don't get into this mess again.0 -

Free calls on o2 payg today
JUST A QUICK POST
Yesterday i received free sim cards from o2. And today when i put those sim cards into my mobile, i could call to U.K landline and mobile any network for free even though i have zero credit.
You can try this out if u r lucky enough!
maybe the money you're saving on the O2 loophole can go towards your outstanding balance with 3?0
