Sorry to hear of your loss. Were you and your neighbours cats not vaccinated against cat flu? Would be worth getting this done if you have a known pocket of infection locally.

My neighbour's cats have been vaccinated against cat flu (the one is about 12 months old) and I have only just found out that they have been ill. My cat was vaccinated too. My OH has examined him and he looks perfect. No cuts or bruises and he is plump with thick fur. He does have moisture under his nose and his eyes are open. His body is stiff but not as though he is frozen. I don't know if he has just died of natural causes or not. He was 13. Other cats I have had lived to 15 and 18 and another had a stoke when she was about 10. He was eating his food and seemed fit and healthy. I just don't understand what has happened. He is not lying in his bedding but across some roofing tiles that have stored in our side entry which would have been very cold. I feel like I've lost a family member and cant stop crying.
