Set up wireless router

Hi I have a TP-LINK TL-WR641G wireless router which I use with my Macbook. We have a visitor using Windows7. How can he connect to the router? The manufacturers site does not list this router to get a download for Windows7.

Windows 7 does not need a driver, its wireless connection. Windows will search for the router and connect automatically, once you hand over the pass key.

Neither do you need any drivers for all the railway, hotels and internet cafe / coffee shops....

    Addition info

Even easier, just connect a cat5e Ethernet cable between the two (no pass key then required and no searching for the router)

Agree, Ethernet cable is simplest by far, especially for a casual user.

Are you braodcasting (SSID Broadcast) the name? i.e can he see your wireless name when he uses his laptop to scan for wireless networks?

If so, just connect to your network and input the security key when asked.

By the sounds of your question, I doubt you have anything like MAC filtering in place but it would further complicate things if you have.

Thanks, have now found how to get the laptop to search for new networks, not as easy as on my Macbook! But all running well now.
