Damp Proof Course - Holes !

Options
We recently moved into a house that has had an injected DPC installed years ago.
Because of this we have a row of holes in the outside wall about 6 inches from the ground. Am I OK filling these in and painting over them (it's a rendered wall) or do I have to leave them as they are??

Many Thanks....

You can safely fill them in. They were drilled so that a chemical could be injected or forced in under gravity pressure which fills in the minute porous holes in the wall to make a barrier that is impervious to water. The holes serve no purpose once this procedure has been completed. The only advantage to leaving the holes is that it shows a damp proof course has been inserted.
