I want a memorial website

I don't know if this is the right place to post but please feel free to move it if not. :)

I used to have a website dedicated to my two angel babies who passed away. I had to cancel it this year since it was costing me too much money. It was with 1&1.

Now, i miss the support i could give and receive from having such a website and although i started a blog it's not the same.

Does anyone know of any free (or very cheap) websites? My requirements are that i would like to display pictures and put google analytics on there. I know very simple HTML, but have no idea how to build a website of my own, so would need a template of some description. I don't need a million pages. Maybe 5 would do it. Perhaps not even that many. I would also like to be able to submit it to search engines etc. The condition i had with my first loss is a little known, but easily preventable thing and it would help to get the website out there for that purpose.

Thank you in advance for any and all help. :)
Sarah. :p

    Hi Sarah.

I am sorry to hear about your babies. I can only imagine the heartbreak.

Heart Internet offer free web hosting. I use them myself and they are very reliable and trustworthy. However it says they only offer 100mb bandwidth (this is how much data people can download from your site). This is not a lot and if you are have photos then I would think this would not be enough, though you could always use something like photobucket for those.
  • Thank you very much for your suggestions, i'll have a look at those today. :)
