i recieved a a letter from tax credits stating that I still owe them £1900! I was overpaid £3800 I think from 2006.

I am separated and agreed to pay back something each month, which I have been doing. However, the letter today states I still owe them £1900.

I informed them I was going on maternity pay in jan 2010 and they have advised that I still need to pay, I;ve agreed to pay something, but they say they can now take my new partners income into consideration!

I have said it is nothing to do with him and go and get the payment from my exhusband, who doesn't work etc... he has the kids. long story, and i pay him CSA!

anyone offer any advise? I am so so hormonal and unhappy.
