Company called First Call

Can someone please help. Got a call from my elderly grandmother who doesn't keep to well today, she was all woried and upset. What had happened was that she got a call from a company called First Call saying that they will get back all her bank charges. They said they needed her bank details to do this and my gran not knowing any better gave them these over the phone. (silly i know) She said repeatedly to the man she talked to on the phone that she didn't want any money taken from her account untill they had done what they had promised. They said of course they won't take anything till it's done. Now after thinking about this when she came of the phone she realised she may have been scammed. Thats when she phoned me. I automatically phoned the bank to tell them about this and to ask if any money had been taken to which they replied yes £75. Now i called this company myself and explained how angry i was and demanded to speak to a manager. He was extremmely rude and said that he will not refund the money. I told him that my grandmother had said to the man that she didn't want any money taken from her account. He said that "when he's got time he will listen to the call" And it is "up to him" whether he refunds the money and if he does they will take an £15 admin charge. Surely they cannot do this. Will this be covered in the distance selling laws. Can someone give me some advice please! Thanks.

And how do they propose to do that?
He was extremmely rude and said that he will not refund the money.

Complain to the ministry of justice that your erlderly mother was cold called and you feel scammed into paying £75 for something she didnt want and you phoned up asking for them to refund the money and they refused. This is despite it being a distance transaction and that your mother was not really able to understand what they were talking about.
