  • go into internet explorer. tools, internet options. click on advanced tab and click on restore defaults.
if that doesnt work what firewall are you using?

  • i wouldnt use windows firewall. however you do so its time for another possible solution

To lower the security setting in Internet Explorer:

In the browser's Tools menu, select Internet Options.

In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab.

In the "Select a Web content zone" control, click the Internet icon.

In the "Security level for this zone" area, reset security to Medium.

    Click OK.

  • windows firewall has too many errors. its too lapse and easily broken into. personally id try something like zonealarm or if you can get a copy of mcafee's security suite (which is the dogs when it comes to pc protection in my opionion)
