I am not sure which board to use but you guy's advice has been helpful in the past, BTW I am in St Helen's.
Don't waste your words I don't need,
Anything from you.
I don't care where you've been or,
What you plan to do.

Are you sure you need a lawyer: have you tried contacting ACAS first?
I think there's an employment lawyer who posts on the employment forum, but I'm not certain0 -
There are a few of us, I think!
St Helen's is only a short train ride from Manchester and Liverpool. There are a few firms with good employment law departments in both cities. I am too far out of the game to give personal recommendations, but I can give you the names of some firms that you might want to check out, if that helps?
On the down side - unless you have cover under an insurance policy or are backed by a union, specialist employment law advice can be expensive, and in an employment tribunal each party normally pays their own costs, so you are unlikely to be reimbursed for any legal expenses.
I have disabled PMs as I was getting too many newbies wanting personal attention (oops soz, that doesn't sound quite right :rotfl:) but if you would like to post on here about your problem I will be happy to contribute and I am sure others will too.
Alternatively, as has been suggested, ACAS is a really good starting point.
Good luck!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Hi, just wanted to say don't use Tickle Hall Cross in St Helens, I used them and lost out on a tribunal because they didn't send the paperwork in time, nightmare!!! Jeff Shaw at J Keith Park is supposed to be good but not sure if he deals with employment law anymore. Good luck x0

30lb lost of 30lb by June 2012 :j:j:j (80lb overall goal)0
