iphone problems (new computer)

I've just purchased a new computer, tried to download some new songs onto my iphone however the iphone does not allow me to sync with the new computer using the itunes software? Does anyone have any advice on how to sync my new computer with itunes/iphone? This is the best way for me to explain the problem, i have tried to make an appointment at the apple store but all there workshops are booked up.
