Hi, in a nutshell I am replacing my bath (don't ask, it's a long story). Anyway, I am just looking for one as cheap as possible. I would prefer it to be very plain and it has to have no ridges at the opposite end to the taps as that is the end my shower is at. Oh, I am also looking for a cheap glass shower screen. I have tried looking online but have not found any real bargains. Any ideas anyone?

Oh, never thought of Argos. You no I tried B&Q online, but they only seem to have posh ranges. I can't seem to find a budget line on their website.0

Ooooh, just had another look at B&Q and found one for £65.00!0

try phoning round your local bathroom shops and seeing if they have any ex-display? Also worth going into your local B&Q to see if they have any clearance ones.0

Latecomer is right. Your independent bathroom / plumbing suppliers may have some end of lines etc or exdisplay. I would always recommend a steel bath too. Much less maintenance problems in the future.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Hi, thanks so much for getting back to me. I have had a call round and no one can beat the price of this bath at B&Q. http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=10567826&fh_view_size=10&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatal!!!1%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3c%7b9372014%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b9372035%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b9582012%7d%2fspecificationsProductType%3dtakeaway_baths&fh_refview=lister&ts=1260969653956&isSearch=false0

I have to say I think £65 is going to be hard to beat.0

I did beat it after all. £5.50 for a second hand bath off of ebay. It's about 19 min drive from me and I am collecting it on Sunday. Result!0
