Main problem is the tiny hard drive. The current Humax boxes have 320GB or 500GB drives. You might well get away with less than that for your purposes, but 80GB will only let you store approx 40 hours of programmes.
If you can live with that, you can't go far wrong for £40.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I'd agree with mac, for £40 if you don't have large storage requirements then this is an ideal bit of kit, I manage perfectly well with an 80g drive on my Thompson DV3, the only problem I've experienced is sometimes it can get a little noisy at times. You may even be able to increase the capacity by bunging in a bigger hd if you have one available.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
