    Hi Taka

    I've just tried to send you a private but your box is too full.

  • taka;

    understand your reticence to pass details; by the same you have to consider that those who have requested obviously work within the industry and are trying to help you, and their risk (of employment) is greater than your risk...

    anyway, as someone who is extremely familar with tenemants (beautiful windows, high ceilings [but consequently a bit more to heat]), i am totally familiar with the flat numbering system; the fact that your address as you know it, accords totally with RM is a good thing; as prev. stated energy company databases are invariably based on this, so 'suppply address' is probably correct;; however, we have established 1 mtr in your house( so not reading someone else meter); so there can be no dispute as to where your supply is coming from; that only leaves why has your supier got a different meter to the one in your kitchen - it must have been exchanged at some point-there must be details on a a label (luggage label tpye)/sticker stating old meter number and final read (or they have always had it wrong); can only reiterate you raise a complaint of wrong billing to force them to do 'Site technical details' visit; do pay what you believe but you MUST raise complaint or they won't take you seriously; at worst request a meter reading at a time suitable and convenient to you (about 5 days for all day appt, 7 days for an afternoon or mornig appt; and around 14 days fopr a 2 hour appt); if you request a 2hr appt, you can obviously be there and watch/quiz what the meter reader records
