I previously made a few cash advance withdraw with my halifax credit card.. and the interest is hitting me hard about 23-25% per annum.. Recently I got a new credit card with 0% for 12 months with 2.5% handling fees.. my question is does the 0% balance transfer cover the cash advance i made with my previous credit card or it just cover for purchase on my previous card?

The balance transfer will cover any outstanding balance (no matter how you clocked it up), so move the balance across and you'll get 0%.
Probably not a good idea to have purchases and balance transfers moved to the same card, since the 0% will end sooner for one than the other, and you'll wind up paying more interest.
But certainly paying no interest is better than paying 23-24%...;)0 -
thanks rob..
im just worried that they might not cover the cash advance i made previously...
yeah... 23-25% is absolutely ridiculous.. at least i know i could pay it off within 12months interest free.. not a lot of money just £2000... about £120 a month0
