If you wanted to have two boxes from one Sky digital mini dish (?)
would you need two LNB's (or a dual LNB) and two feed cables or do
they do summat clever (splitting the cable indoors etc) these days?

You'll get a dual (or even quad) LNB and the 2 cables run out from the dish to wherever your sky box is.
You do need to make sure that 2nd and subsequent boxes are all connected to the same phone line in order to get the discounted rate for more digiboxes tho.0
