can i put road tax on my expenses

Just wondered if i can claim the money on business vehicle road tax as an expense.
Never thought about it before and if i can then every penny counts :-)

You need to include all the running costs of your vehicle in your accounts and then add back the private proportion on your self assessment. In addition, you claim capital allowances on your SA. However, if you are using the 40p/25p pm method of accounting for business mileage, then you cannot include any of the actual expenditure.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
