I have searched under CN Traveller and prize title, hopefully this one, although ending the twelth of never will be ok. Seems you can enter every month until septmeber (different question).

I think the answer is FLORIDA but would appreciate an agreement from someone. http://www.cntraveller.com/news/competitions/where-are-you-january-2010

Good luck

Where are you? Win a luxury holiday on Mauritius

Palm trees and a beach: but this is no castaway island. Along with four others, it forms a park that attracts visitors for its white sand - the finest in the country, according to some - and its birdlife. 'A must-see destination!' says the guide to the 2,000-mile birding trail that runs through the park.
The first oddity to show up here was a European explorer in the 16th century, who came looking for gold and a passage to India, but instead found one of the country's mightiest rivers. After that encounter, the island slipped back into history's backwaters. Fortifications were built for wars that never arrived, and guns installed that were never fired in combat. However, its soliders were battered by storms, and attacked by an enemy difficult to repel. 'Life for the men is a torture both night and day,' reported their quartermaster; 'and the mosquitoes have to be fought continuously whether at work or resting.' Luckily for the bird-watchers, these are no longer such a hazard. Where are you?

I don't think the answer is Florida... it refers to an island repeatedly, and I don't think Florida has many major rivers?

SCRATCH THAT: It is Florida, so says Google.
Best wins: Luxury weekend in Russia, family holiday to France, catered BBQ for 20, Selfridges shopping spree, jolly to Majorca, £1,000 See Tickets vouchers, £500 John Lewis vouchers, five-star weekend in Provence!
