Take a look here very.co.uk and use voucher code ZZ394
It gives you £20 off your fist order over £20.00.

I used very.co.uk and bought it for my PC for £17.99...!
    Bargain!
I've already got an account with them so wouldn't qualify.

If you apply for an amazon credit card you can use that card straight away to buy stuff on amazon (ie. you don't have to wait for the card to arrive in post) and the first time you use it, they give you a £15 credit, so this would make it cost only (£39.70 - £15) £24.70 instead. Only problem is you get a credit card you don't really want, but I did this anyway and will just cancel the card once I've paid off the balance.
I wouldn't get approved for a credit card anyhow.

  • Hello Folks,

A bit off subject, but hopefully someone can save me spending unnecessary money.

I have bought this game for my son to play on his PS3.

Does the game need any accessories to play? or to enhance the game? or does it give a good experience just playing with the handset controllers?

Seen headsets and stuff, and don't want to waste money.

    Regards

If he will be playing online (i.e with friends) then a headset is recommended, but any headset will do, otherwise nothing is needed.

My OH plays games like these and he plays online without a headset etc, he can't be bothered with all of the hassle!!
Please don't pay extortionate prices for a ps3 headset when any headset will work!

    Thanks Rusty!

Oooh! I'd not thought about playing online.

Is it complicated? I suppose my son might know more then me.
I'm trying to plan in advance. I don't want to get to xmas day, and I've not got everything needed.

I will go and look for a headset today.

It's far better to get advice from here, rather than a shop that will extort all my pennies from me!

Munchings I guess playing online is optional! My OH never plays games with online friends if that makes sense? yet I know people who arrange a set time and day to play together? ...

If you don't want to look for a headset or buy one you could always put in a gift card for Game or Gamestation or something so he could maybe buy his own, or if he decides he doesn't want one then he could use the money towards another game or something?

Good luck :D I bet your son will love the game!

Went into Argos today and looked this up on the off chance and came up at £37.99 (though the display said more) which is almost as cheap as you can get it I think... especially on the 'high street'...
