Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Hiya Everyone,

Does anyone know of any good deals on this for PS3? I've had a gander but can't seem to find anything. Just wondered if there was anything I hadn't found.

Cheapest I can find is Amazon! Sorry but it is still quite expensive and these kind of games tend to hold their price even second hand!!

Thanks. I've found it for 36.99 on Games Basement but was hoping there might be some mega bargain out there that had gone un noticed. Oh well. Looks like I'm just going to have to cough up.

I've been stung by these things a few times. Tip for next year: when the game is released, the supermarkets do a day/week long promotion sometimes on the big games where they have them for £25. I got CODMW2 for £25 from Sainsburys. They didn't do Assassin's Creed on offer though and I've had to pay £36 but its worth looking out for at the release date

If you apply for an amazon credit card you can use that card straight away to buy stuff on amazon (ie. you don't have to wait for the card to arrive in post) and the first time you use it, they give you a £15 credit, so this would make it cost only (£39.70 - £15) £24.70 instead. Only problem is you get a credit card you don't really want, but I did this anyway and will just cancel the card once I've paid off the balance.

its like an expasion pack, not a new game in its own right, tho the levels to that extent are fun. there was a big 26 quid offer on release, obviously you missed out but after xmas if you can wait it may come down again...

I am hoping that assassins creed 2 (xbox) and also uncharted 2 (ps3) come down before the end of January as I have both of these on OH's birthday list :j We tried everywhere for the cheaper deals for CODMW2 but no where had any in stock!!

Yeh, we tried at the time and spent the day running round supermarkets but didn't manage it with work and a 6 month old baby.

It's a Christmas present for my OH who has already completed the other game.
