What finance software?

I manage the budget in our house and was wondering what you guys use to manage your finances.
I need some software where I can set up re-occuring payments and it tells me how much I have after they have gone out.
I used to use PocketMoney on the iPhone which was BRILLIANT, but I sold my iPhone and I can't find any software which works as well as that
Also, if the software allows you to set up your pay to be added on the last WORKING day of the month, then even better!

I've been using Money 2005 (money 2007 is the American version), for about 10 years and it does exactly what you're looking for. You just set up your accounts and bills, and on any given day you can see what the balnaces of your account will be. Its a great tool for both managing your spending, and your cash flow. Although Microsoft are not issuing any more versions of Money, you can still buy it.0 -
I use MoneyDance. It's cheap but very good, and the user support (when I've needed it) is excellent. And I understand you can also buy the same software a bit cheaper under the branded name of Tesco Personal Finance.0

Have been using Quicken since it was first available, however, yesterday my list of standing orders disappeared, I have tried to redo the list but it just wont happen.
I had a look on the internet for a replacement package, Which have rated Moneydance highly. There is a free download which the maker recommend you try first.
I can transfer all my Quicken 2004 over to Moneydance, its available for Mac and Windows (I have/use both).
Think i will give the freebie a go.0 -
I tried MoneyDance but didnt like the interface... I may not have given it a fair go.
I re-installed Money 2005 last night and it seems good, but I cannot set it up to allow wages to go in the last working day of the month...0 -

I used to use Microsoft Money, but found this and have never looked back.
