  • After a '5' late payment marker put in my file incorrectly by a lender (a/c was under dispute at the time)

Hiya stranger! Is this the same late payment marker we were messing with ages ago? #1086 / #1068

Remember the old sutton default removal thread...? I thought it was all done & dusted? :D

Hi NID - how are you? :D

That sort of ground to a halt as I don't have the full amount to bargain them with, even though I'd really like that pesky marker removed. Is it worth trying them again? I don't want to risk them defaulting it or anything, so would rather keep paying.

Debtdestroyer - it is still on there as 1 late payment within 12 months. It has been paid and the account has been up to date and 'satisfactory' for 7 months now.

Rufus - thanks, I already have a Cap1 card though.

JonesMUFC - We're saving for a deposit for a mortgage, so I will have closed all unused accounts by then and my file should be spankingly clean by then as well!

Hiya stranger - thought you'd used and abused me - I feel cheap :rotfl::rotfl:

I agree, if the account simply shows late payment then it would be best to stick to your agreed repayments...... :D
