I know the OP bought a king size for a double bed (post 5) but I wouldn't recommend it myself. Electric blankets are meant to lie flat on the mattress and if the king size is too big it will more than likely curl over the edges damaging the wires. Not very safe to be honest.0

i used to have one as a child in single size due to having athiritis my mum got it for me and it was a great buy!!!
im thinking of buying a new double one from argos as mine has seen better days!!10
