Electric blanket.

I’m getting my girlfriend an electric blanket cos she’s been complaining how cold our bed is every night. I had a quick look at argos and they’ve got a decent selection ranging from £20 t0 £60.
Has anyone got one, and could someone give me a few indicators on what to look for in one (like don’t get the cheap ones cos they burn out/set your bedroom on fire/whatever)?
Thanks!

Go for a fitted underblanket. They are like a fitted sheet and have none of them silly ties. Be prepared to pay quite a bit more though. You also might like duel control cos you might not want the heat yourself.
Nice pressie idea, she'll love it!0 -
I bought this one recently and it's great,it's lovely to get in to a nice warm bed at night.

It's a good point, as I quite like a cold bed. I was considering just getting a single bed's blanket, but I thought there may be ridges or issues with it shifting around over time.0 -
Blimey! That's a good buy, I'll be getting one of those for myself.0

the winterwarm ones or silentnight ones are reliable. they have a thermostat nowadays so they dont get too hot and are well insulated.0

I have the winterwarm one (dual control), you can leave it on all night if you get really cold!0

do you know if the king size would fit onto a double bed? the king size is a good price at argos but double more expensive.0
