  • My BIL has been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Has op on friday and will obviously be in over Christmas. 2009 stinks.
(my ex asked DD1 to make sure I knew which was nice. I see them quite often but not recently).

  • What's a sweetie bracelet? I'm assuming not a bracelet made of sweets.

It seems to have been for a lot of people really.
  • Bookie, really sorry to hear about your BIL

    xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • BIL has had it tough really. He is a driving instructor. Had a really bad crash in the snow 20 years ago. Lost his spleen and was unconcious for weeks and we'd all written him off. He pulled through - very long recovery obviously but got back to instructing - no memory of accident. Then he tripped and broke his femur a few years back.

blimey SRM he's got a good chance then? Guess it comes down to cost in terms of what they are going to have to pay people off against the cost of keeping them on. Fingers crossed. What on earth is he going to do after?
