Obviously the cheaper the better!!

How much do i need for such a thing?

I suppose i could use the old credit card, if they are hugely expensive....... not very money saving in the long run though!

Argos do some DVD recorders including a Liteon one but don't know how good it is

Don't know if it is any use to you but the DVD recorder that "sheel" is reffering to was apparantly on sale at the QVC shop in Warrington for about £150 for some reason.

Not sure if they have any stock left though
