Well, I do like Microsoft SE but, in addition to, I would install Avast. Spyware Blaster is also very good, and immediately switch your allegiance to Firefox
To play safe and because MS Security Center might very well complain that you have two (conflicting) anti-virus installations, it might be better to choose between Security Essentials or Avast. Essentially, that's what I have done: I have Avast but I still have Microsoft Defender installed against malware infection. HTH.0
