Sudoku and Digital photo frames?

I have seen that Lidl have a sudoku puzzle game for £9.99 has anyone got this and is it actually any good?
And has anyone got one of those digital photo frames as well? Are they any good and do they show up the photo's well? I'm thinking about getting one, presume they are battery operated?
My mum might like one for Christmas but not sure which to get, the cheapest in Argos like the sudoku puzzle doesn't have very good reviews.
Was thinking about getting my mum a jewellery cleaner as well, she has 25 rings on her hands and that's just the start of the lot she wears.
My BF wanted to get my parents a dishwasher, not sure if its a good idea or not though.
Have made my reindeer food, making a ice cream hamper, got a lot of jars to make journal jars out of. Doing a Christmas eve hamper and I'm doing a new years eve one too. I'm not half way finished what i have to do yet. Look out shops tomorrow that's all i can say!
Have done my pots of gold, though not as fancy as some as i have no cellophane so used a cut in half clear wallet for documents bunched up at the top, did add some ribbon though :rotfl: But i like them anyway. They are also going to have funny looking snowman soup as i have no cone bags so looking for something else to put the stuff in.
Still have soooooo much to do, next year i better start in Feb!

I havent got the lidl version of sudoku but I have a similar one and it is very good.
Maplins also have a couple with less levels and they seem to be on sale at present http://www.maplin.co.uk/ type sudoku into the search at the top ,one is £5 and the other is £3.500 -
Most if not all the digital photoframes are mains powered NOT battery powered unless they specifically state so... (if you see one DO let me know!!!)
I have a £40 I think it was from Asda one - clear plastic frame with an inner black frame - very modern style which suits me as I like things to be quite minimal and modern
Seems to be doing pretty well - it has baby pics and wedding pics rotating on it and has had for a while!

My sister gave my mum a lower-end digital photo frame and set it up for her with lots of scanned and digital photos, which are on the frame's memory card. However, it isn't as simple as switch on and watch - it's far too complicated for our elderly mother. It doesn't shuffle the photos, so they always run through in the sequence that the photos were loaded onto it. It doesn't seem to save settings, so every time it's switched on it has to be 'told' to find the photos and then play the slideshow. Too much for poor eyesight and clumsy fingers, sadly. I think the more expensive ones can have photos added to them wirelessly, or perhaps even emailed to them, and have a means of indexing or searching, though mum probably wouldn't cope with that now either. Good luck.0

We have a digital frame & it is great. I think it is a case (on the whole) that you get what you pay for.
Also like TV's they get measured diagonally for size so go for a bigger size as the small sizes are hard to see from across the room. Also get one with a memory stick hole as you end up adding more & more to them.

I used to have a digital photo frame and you couldn't just load the pictures on in their original format, they had to be cropped first, otherwise the picture would look stretched.
It was a bit of a novelty at first, but soon got bored with it and sold it on.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,087.170 -
I love my digital frame - provided someone else does the loading. Unfortuntely, I left it to my husband. I took the frame to work, and found (to my horror) that he had not been at all careful with what he put on, so my colleagues were subjected to the sight of me with newly born (as in seconds old) daughter, me trying to breastfeed etc. As the frame was behind me when I had someone in my office I didn't notice until someone pointed it out.0
