Advice re removing a tree

we're purchasing a flat which has an apple tree in the garden. It's badly positioned and we're going to have it removed. I reckon it's about 6/7ft away from the rear of the property and I'm aware that you need to be careful about removing trees due to the roots causing heave or subsidence ?
Can anyone please advise if this removal is going to be safe? Thanks.

How old is the tree?
How old is the house?
