Travel insurance with Cancer

Hello
My partner and I are travelling to Florida on the 29th (presuming BA don't cancel the flight!) anyway I need some travel insurance however I had cancer a few years ago. Previously I was on my parents' insurance and because my mum had also had cancer, amongst other illnesses she used to speak to someone, explain it all and then they would basically exclude anything related to my cancer and the area effected (my ear). I am basically trying to avoid very long conversations with numerous companies looking for the best deal!!
Any suggestions??
Oh and I realise that the insurance company probs won't cover anything to do with the flights being cancelled etc as I will be taking it out after hearing about it, but it seems BA are offering refunds/new flights etc...

Hi
Best advice is to go to companies that specialise in providing the cover you are looking for.
Try Medicitravel.com and allcleartravel.co.ukThe comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
You could try this company who apparantly are sympathetic for cancer and travel insurance, I have no knowledge of the company so it is not a recommendation0

I use alclear for a different PEMC though, it would make sence to actually speak to them first, they are pleasant enough, but I have never had to claim. gook luck and have a good time.Campaigning to recycle Insurance Policies into Toilet Paper :rotfl:
