Looking at the pictures on Amazon, this DVD recorder looks like it's been on a industrial strength diet of pies & cakes.

It's not going to win any aethetics awards is it...the minger that it is.

Yep but find some media you can stick in it it can't record to.

yeah it is big comared to my digi box (graundig silver) but that all helps the hardisk stay cool and it also has the fan which is a bonous too. No grils etc so dust cant get in too easly. would look ok under w/screen tv no need for video unless transfering videos.

See the new leaflet of argos they are proudly advertising it at 250 and like 50.00 off, I have never seen in at 300 in argos, in argos they have the 80gb model for 200.

I have tried merg split and they work- Just need to make a dvd out of some football match etc and see if I can do it without the ads for testing purposes.

@ tony you never said how much you paid etc and how long youhv had it for?
