in Credit cards
hi new user here so please be gentle lol
ok my problem i would like advice for
i applied for a lloyds platinum card in october and transferred a balance from mdna card was told 0% over 12 months with 3% fee that was ok by me i noticed in novembers statment that an additional balance of 2k was added to my lloyds card , have found out today that they just transferred it all from a airmiles duo account i also have with them , my questions are
1. did they have any right to do this without telling me either over the phone or e mail
2. was told that i cant have 2 accounts with them and thats why they did it
3. i am not happy that all i pay is going off the balance transfer so intrest mounting on what they have shifted without telling me
hope this is not too confusing and any comments will be appreciated
thank you

If they dont allow 2 accounts then demand they change the priority of what gets paid first on the card.0

It might take a few phonecalls and a few hours but will be worth getting it sorted now. You will most likey speak to advisors that cant or wont know how to sort it out but hope you get one that is clued up and sorts it out for you.0

Have you asked them to tell under which clause of t&cs have they taken the liberty to transfer the balance without informing you? If they cannot produce the relevant condition, make a formal complaint and ask for refund of interest paid plus compensation for your time and effort to sort out the matter.0 -

If you hold the Platinum card, then it is 12 months at 0% - surely the "advisor" should know better.0
