I am probably being thick, but I don't know how people manage to include several quotes from different people's posts in a single reply.
Can anyone advise please?

Click the multiquote button on all the posts you want to quote except for the final post when you should just choose the normal quote button.0

The multiquote button ("+ on it) will allow you to quote up to 3 posts AFAIK
For more right click on QUOTE button, select open link in new tab

We used to be able to click on the multiquote button and use the post on a different thread. No, I don't have the habit of dragging posters or posts onto another thread but this was a post relevant (for me
) to something that was being discussed and I asked permission of the poster if I could use their post.
So I clicked on the mutiquote function and went to the other thread to continue with my conversation; but it never worked :huh:0
