I have the wide plate version of these (slightly earlier model) and I love love love them. I use them quite regularly, maybe once a week and my hair is fine, no heat damage (be sure to use a heat protection spray!). I do much the same as dreamteamgirl; towel dry hair, brush into segments, spray heat spray on and straighten each piece a bit at a time, it takes about half an hour to do properly (my hair is quite long) but so worth it.:A:A:A:A:A:A0

I had a wider version of these they were ok, did the job but I felt that they left my hair a bit frizzy afterwards. I prefer to blowdry then straighten0

OMG I will NEVER buy a hairdryer again.
I've got a set of these via doing the bzzz (about 6 weeks ago) and i've not used my hairdryer since.
I've got long, frizzy thick hair which if left to be nearly dry and then used my ghd's wouldn't get a good result. Or if I blow dry my hair (have to section, use goodness knows how many products to stop frizz, etc) and then use my ghd's. The next day it needs straightening again. My ghd's are authentic.
These wet2straights I can either do with my hair really wet or nearly dry and my hair looks as though it's been professionaly blow-dried and doesn't frizz up before my next hair wash.
If they are still on sale after pay day i'm going to buy another pair for when my current ones pack up :j0 -
I have brought these hair straightners today at Comet, plenty in stock and you can reserve and collect instore as well. A good price for the wet2dry one.0
