thanks0 -
Are these the straighteners that Bzzz were selling for trial?
If they are very conflicting reviews!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Tried these some odd 5 years ago, they were ok but Using straighteners on wet hair is severely damaging, my hair ended up frazzled at the ends, and they lasted all of 3 months. If you have the money and you use straighteners regularly then I wouldn't recommend them.Comping wishlist for 2017

Disagree completely!
I have these and they are absolutely bloody BRILLIANT !!
I towel dry, so it isnt sopping wet, otherwise you get too much steam then brush and straighten it dry

I don`t straighten my hair very often, silly question but what would happen if you used normal straightners on wet hair:A :shocked: :A0

these are okay, not as good as ghds, but if your hair isnt too thick they should work fine. if your hair is quite unruly, i wouldnt go for them.
straightening wet hair (at least with normal straighteners) can be really damaging and when you do it there is a loud hiss!0 -

You get a bit of a hiss with these too, but the main difference is they have vent holes so the steam can escape.
As I say dont use sopping wet, and some people do use regular ones on damp hair, but the GHD instructions say not to for safety reasons0 -
Thanks, for your replies don`t think i`ll bother trying it wet lol, brings back memories of crimping in the 80`s with loads of spray on and it used to sizzle:D the damage I must have done to my poor hair:eek::A :shocked: :A0

I was given a pair of these for my birthday a couple of weeks ago (think my fella is gutted by price reduction). In its natural state many people think my hair is permed. If I straighten my hair with these from wet it lasts a couple of days.0
