Hi,
My in laws bought an lcd tv from littlewoods in aug 08. It was bought under a special promotion at the time, X amount over 104 weeks 0% apr.
Now normally littlewoods only give 0% apr for upto 52 weeks but as i said it was a special offer.
Anyway the tv has a problem when switching it on, frankly you have to keep trying over and over again until it stays on.
I know their are certain rights about buying goods on credit but not that clued up on it. I know its a long shot but does anyone think that as the goods are still being paid for on credit they may have a case in having the goods repaired/ replaced, or should i advise them to just go down the sales of goods act?
As ever thanks for your time!

section 75 is what you want. It states credit giving companies are jointly and severably liable for faults on goods entitling you to a refund.
Most have the misconception that s75 only applies to credit cards when in fact it applies to most credit situations.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
I am having the exact same problem! Bought a lcd tv also from littlewoods and now it takes 10 minutes to turn the bleeding thing on.
How would you phase the complaint letter? Is there a template?0 -
