Noise on phone returns after BT Engineer visit

I have a noisy line causing disruption to my broadband and very low speed. I have listened to the noise on a wired telephone from the test socket (behind the extension plate so everything is disconnected), so it definitely exist and I know this is BT’s fault. I have already had BT engineer come in 4 times to sort out the problem. And everytime the BT Engineer has come around, sorted out the problem (by going to the green box somewhere outside on the streets), and the problem comes back after 3-7 days. I have not been able to get a clear reason out of the BT Engineer as to why this happens. They always shrug their shoulders and say they don’t know exactly why this happens. Does BT change the lines in the green box outside somewhere on the street a few days after fixing my problem? Last time the BT engineer almost tried to blame it on internal wiring and charge me a call out but then the problem became quite evident (fault detected 340m from my house) and I was saved from a unnecessary bill. DUring the few days when the line is quiet, I get 6MBps and no disconnection for 2-3 days. Now the noise has come back and my broadband speed goes down to 0.5MBps and disconnections everytime I pick the phone to call. But I am really scared to call a BT engineer. If called them out they could easily fix the problem before they come to check at my house and charge me for unnecessary callout. How can I protect myself from this happening? Maybe get an independent telephone engineer to verify it as BT Fault? How do I get this noisy phone line fixed?
I am getting very annoyed with BT for this. I hope someone has an idea what is going on here. Thanks in advance.

Hi Nikreations,
I would like to take a look at this for you. Please can you drop me an email with your BT account details along with your forum username and a link to this thread? Once I have received those details I will be able to run a few tests and take a look at the network side of things, to see if I can get to the bottom of what is causing the noise on your line.
Cheers
