Hi everyone,
Looking for some advice. A few months ago I took out employment cover just in case!! I have just found out that they are closing my office down next year so I may be made redundant. I am entitiled to my employment cover if I sign on Job seekers allowance.
This is where it gets complicated. I am currently 2 months pregnant. Will I be allowed to get Jobseekers allowance when you are pregnant. I dont want to lose out on the money I am entitled to.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Josephine, I believe that you can get JSA while you are pregnant, although this stops in the third trimester. You do have to be actively seeking work even though you are pregnant. Later, I think you can get ESA until after the baby is born.
Joseph66, I don't know what (if any) benefits you might be entitled to, but as it is a separate question to the OP, you may want to start a new thread of your own.0
