How long for a final bill?

I switched my elec from EDF about 3 weeks ago. I've calculated there should be around £25 credit on the account once the bill has been paid.
The automated service is still saying that I've got £40 credit, so obviously no bill generated yet.
How long should they take to generate the bill and repay the credit? In the past, I've only ever waited about two weeks for the final bill? Do they send a cheque for the credit or just repay it into my bank account?
