IE not opening multiple windows

Hi
When I open ie and click any likn its open new window and close the previous one. It cannot open multiple windows. I have asked from a forum and I been told that go to internet option click advanced and untick reuse windows for launching shortcuts, and I did that but problem is still there.
Can anyone help me please.

  • That's how it's supposed to work when you click on a link. If you want to open multiple windows, right click on the link and choose "open in new window".
  • The "opening in new window" can be controlled by the HTML code on the hyperlink without you having to right click but this is determined by the website designer.

    For example, to get a link to open in a new browser window, what you do is add the target="_blank" attribute to your link tag, like this:

    <A HREF="http://www.website.com/linkus.htm&quot; target="_blank">
    Link to us!</A>

    However, I don't think this is your problem but just some background information for you.

    If your "right click" option doesn't work, look at this fault log from Microsoft entitled " 'Open in New Window' Command Does Not Work in Internet Explorer".
