I believe if you call your buildings insurer then they can help. I had to call mine as my neighbours garage roof, that is attached to ours, has a leak which in turn ran along the boards onto our side and has damaged our roof in the process. When I called them they said I could claim against my neighbour for damage to our property that not maintaining their property has caused. Have you called your insurers'? Sounds to me that the actions of your neighbour has lead to all of this. Give them a call and see what they say.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

I feel so sorry for you and I hope it gets sorted in your favour.
I can tell you 100% that this is a problem i could fix for you in no time at all and I know exactly what the problem is.
It is such a shame that your neighbour is not willing to co-operate as it is not as if you are trying to gain any advantage, just correct a problem they have caused.
Are you on friendly terms with them or not? If yes then surely common sense can prevail here. Why not look in the yellow pages for the National Federation Of Roofing Contractors(NFRC) and try to find a company in your area. This is one of the best organisations in this Country and are very good at helping. It is hard to get in the federation as they carry out vital checks on your company so you will be in good hands. Instead of asking for a free estimate of them, ask them for a survey (and how much) and they will tell you the exact problem and what they can do.

why not write a nice friendy letter, explaining the whole situation, and the consequences, and ask if they can please talk to you.0
