Debt Relief Order.... Help!!
Hi,
Does anyone know what assets are considered when applying for a DRO?
I dont have a car, or any savings or pensions... in fact i dont have alot! But I just wondered if anyone who had been through this process, knew anything about what they consider 'assets over £300'???
Thanks in advance

I would think its tangible things like car, house, savings plans, pension, life insurances, antiques, rembrandt in the hallway!!!, poss TV if its a mega expensive one, your best bet would be to ask on the Bankruptcy board, I am sure they would have more knowledge than meAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

A car is not part of the £300, you can own a car worth under £1000 and qualify for a DRO.
With regards to the £300 - this link might help - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=20434547&postcount=182A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
