If buying from an internet site, when should your debit card be charged? I regularly buy from Play and Amazon and they do not debit my card until they despatch. But 2 weeks ago i bought from a golf site, they charged my card straight away but did not despatch for a week.

Whenever they say they will charge in the T&C's. Don't worry, it all sounds above board, some larger companies have the resources to bill you later to avoid refunds for mistakes under the Distance Selling Regulations. This isn't such a problem for smaller websites as they have far less trade so far less resources is required for returns under DSR.Back by no demand whatsoever.0
