Just renewed mine with AutoAid for £37 (second year).
I can't comment on the service as I have not called them out last year but I am expecting it to be good. It was a recommendation here on MSE.
I was with the AA for many years but their renewal premiums were too high. I'm getting the same cover for less now.

If you fill up at Total, £30 every 2 weeks it comes with breakdown cover

Gotta use fuel anyway, so the real cost is the difference between their price and the cheapest. Using 2p a litre difference, you are looking at equivalent of 30p a week

We have used Autoaid - downside is having to pay the Recovery Guy at the callout ....BUT, upside is that there is no hassle with claiming it back, and is quickly settled0
