EOS are a nightmare!! I was paying them £75 direct debit which was killing me yet they still kept calling to up it! I got the debt down from £900 to £300 before I left work and needed to dramatically reduce the payments - I owe them £300 now and they call me constantly whereas I dont hear a peep out of them 2 companies I owe over £1000 to!RoseyMarie

Unfortunately, you have now admitted the debt. However, offer them £51 and say that is all you can possibly raise as a settlement. make an offer of a very low monthly payment as an alternative.
if you can produce a Financial Statement ( List of Income and Expenditure ) to back that up, then all the better.
Well I got the credit agreement and posted that in another thread but couldnt find it today.
At the moment Im not getting any money in at all as Ive just started a new job and dont get my first pay til the end of the month and even then most of it will be going on rent as Jobcentre seem to have messed up and not paid the job follow on thing.
I will try the £51 letter, how much do you think I should offer as monthly payments?
They want me to call and speak to them about it but there is no way I will! Keeping this to letters only!Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -

Not sure if they have my phone number lol, so not having that trouble. Im surprised they didnt accept the £50 as I offered less than that to the last company and they had passed the debt on rather than settle.Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -

Have a look at your budget...if its £1 then its £1. They will need figures to back this up though , you can download a Budget Sheet at www.nationaldebtline.co.uk
